St Michael the Archangel and the Marine in Korea

There are times when God or the Blessed Virgin, Saints or Angels appear and help us in incredible ways.

Saint Michael the Archangel appeared to a U.S. Marine in Korea in 1950 and saved his life. The marine wrote about the profound experience while still in hospital, in a letter to his mother. A Navy Chaplain investigated and read the letter one year later at the Naval base in San Diego, California, to a gathering of five thousand other marines.

This letter was shared again by Fr Joachim Mudd, a Franciscan Friar at the end of his homily.
